One of my favourite activities in Dublin is to walk down the famous shopping street in the city centre. Grafton Street has been made famous over the years by artists from Phil Lynott to Bono and now everyday there are new musicians who sing to the crowds. This painting is inspired by one of my first encounters on the street, where I listend to a Celtic flute player playing Irish music and once I heard him, I felt like I was home. 
 
This painting takes in the beauty of his ethereal sound, with Irish symbols interlaced throughout the design.
